FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has issued notices to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Tiger Shroff regarding their involvement in surrogate advertising for pan masala products.
The officials warned that the actors could face fines of up to ₹10 lakh if their responses to the legal notices are found to be unsatisfactory.
The move is part of a wider FDA crackdown on the promotion of gutka and pan masala, which are subject to strict regulatory rules in India.
