Delhi Reports 2,308 H1N1 Cases; Emergency Review Meeting Convened

Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh confirmed 2,308 H1N1 infections out of 3,000 total influenza cases reported in the capital this year, prompting an emergency review meeting.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta called the emergency session on August 25, 2026, to assess medical preparedness and ensure adequate availability of doctors and beds in city hospitals.

Authorities have mandated the creation of isolation wards in every hospital and warned that strict action will be taken against facilities failing to provide beds to symptomatic patients.
