
Novak Djokovic overcame top seed Alexander Zverev 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 at the China Open on Sunday to secure a place in the semi-finals.
The 39-year-old Serbian recovered from an early first-set deficit and withstood 19 aces from Zverev to clinch victory in two hours and 34 minutes in Beijing.
Djokovic advanced to set up a semi-final clash with Daniil Medvedev, while women's top seeds Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina exited the tournament.
