Actor-politician Kamal Haasan called for uncompromising justice after the Central Crime Branch arrested a former employee of granite baron R Veeramani for withholding evidence in a POCSO case.
The 84-year-old industrialist was previously arrested on August 29 after a Special POCSO Court rejected an earlier closure report and ordered a fresh investigation.
Police sources report that ongoing scrutiny involves financial transactions connecting the industrialist to certain police officials, media representatives, and political figures.
