Rajnath Singh Approves DRDO Missile Technology Transfer to Private Firms

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has officially approved the transfer of indigenous missile technology developed by the DRDO to the Indian private defence industry.

The policy shift aims to bolster domestic manufacturing capabilities by allowing private firms to access and produce advanced missile systems previously restricted to state-run entities.

This decision is expected to accelerate the indigenisation of national security assets and reduce reliance on foreign imports for critical defence hardware.
