NTPC Eyes Green Hydrogen Exports to Asia and Europe

State-owned NTPC is developing a green hydrogen hub in Visakhapatnam and is in talks with South Korea, Germany, and Japan for exports.

The company plans to produce green ammonia or green methanol, sourcing carbon dioxide from its Simhadri power station.

NTPC emphasizes that scaling up demand is critical for green hydrogen to move from pilot to commercial scale.
