Ajith Kumar Offered to Play Father in 'Badhaai Ho' Remake

Director Adhik Ravichandran revealed that actor Ajith Kumar offered to play the father's role in a proposed Tamil remake of 'Badhaai Ho'.

Ajith Kumar had previously supported Ravichandran when he struggled to find heroes after his second film flopped.

The Tamil remake was eventually made as 'Veetla Vishesham' without Ajith or Ravichandran.
