South Africa Rules Out Kagiso Rabada for First Test Against Australia

South Africa confirmed its playing XI for the first Test against Australia at Kingsmead, leaving out injured fast bowler Kagiso Rabada as a conservative precaution.

Anrich Nortje will return to play his first Test match since March 2023, partnering with Marco Jansen in the pace attack.

The Proteas opted to include two spinners, Keshav Maharaj and Simon Harmer, to leverage conditions favourable to spin at the Durban venue.
