Americans voted on Tuesday in midterm elections that will determine whether President Trump's Republican Party retains control of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate.
Early voting recorded 54 million ballots cast, while the elections also contested 435 House seats, 37 Senate seats, and 36 governorships.
Opinion polls predict the Democratic Party could wrest control of at least the House, potentially limiting President Trump's legislative agenda in his final two years.
