Windows 11 Bug Uninstalls GPU Drivers in Eco Mode

A Windows 11 bug on gaming laptops automatically uninstalls discrete GPU drivers if the device remains in 'Eco' mode for 15 to 30 days.

The system task pnpclean.dll identifies the inactive GPU as a removed USB device, replacing the driver with the 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter'.

Users can prevent this by setting the registry value 'Device Driver Packages Autorun' to 0 or by manually enabling the discrete graphics card periodically.
