Pakistan reopened the Gabd-Rimdan border crossing with Iran on Saturday to resume bilateral trade and cross-border movement.
The crossing had been closed by the Commerce Ministry on October 17, leading to stranded freight vehicles and concerns over a nationwide LPG shortage.
Local administrators reopened the route after reviewing security conditions and deploying additional forces to protect trade convoys.
