The Central Industrial Security Force plans to recruit approximately 450 sportspersons against vacant posts to strengthen its competitive sports teams.
The force amended its recruitment rules to facilitate direct sports hiring at the Constable, Head Constable, and Assistant Sub-Inspector levels.
The CISF also expanded sports infrastructure across training establishments and distributed roughly ₹97 lakh in cash awards to medal-winning athletes and coaches.
