SpaceX executive pitches Starlink in India amid pending security approvals

SpaceX Vice President Lauren Dreyer pitched Starlink as a last-mile internet solution during the India Mobile Congress on Tuesday.

Although Starlink holds a GMPCS authorisation from the DoT, final security approvals from the Indian government remain pending.

Dreyer expressed hope that the required government authorizations would be finalized next year to support connectivity goals.
