A two-year-old boy named Rahul died of suspected malnutrition in Alappuzha district, prompting the Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights to register a case.
The autopsy report stated the child was severely anaemic and weighed only 7.6 kg, significantly below the expected 12 kg average for his age.
