IIT Kharagpur announced the creation of India's first academic school dedicated to Physical Artificial Intelligence with an investment of ₹35 crore.

The Benjamin Gupta School of Physical AI is supported by a ₹12.5 crore contribution from alumnus Vinod Gupta's family and ₹10 crore from an anonymous alumnus.
