Microsoft is entering its second day of recovery efforts following a core authentication misconfiguration that caused widespread failures across Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other 365 services.
The company confirmed that service availability is improving as of Tuesday, though search functionality remained degraded for some users following the initial failure on Monday.
Microsoft attributed the disruption to a deployment error in its infrastructure and is currently maintaining a period of extended monitoring to ensure a full resolution for all enterprise and business customers.
