European Diplomats Attacked by Masked Settlers in Occupied West Bank Village

A delegation of European diplomats visiting the West Bank village of Taybeh was attacked by masked Israeli settlers, resulting in a smashed consulate car window and a French mayor being assaulted.

Belgium and Israel's foreign ministries condemned the violence, while the Israel Defense Forces stated they were conducting an investigation into the incident.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office urged caution and suggested the reports were part of a coordinated campaign to smear Israel during the olive harvest season.
