Delhi University students stage solidarity march demanding safety

Thousands of Delhi University students held a solidarity march on Monday protesting the Aastha Kunj Park gang rape case and demanding enhanced women's safety outside campus.

Students from Lady Shri Ram College protested near Moolchand following a police encounter near the college back gate involving one of the rape suspects.

Demonstrators highlighted everyday safety issues including poor street lighting, stalking, catcalling, and long detours required during their daily commutes.
