US Launches Heavy Strikes Against Iranian Targets Following Regional Escalation

The US military completed a heavy wave of strikes against Iranian targets by 10pm ET Wednesday, responding to Iranian missile attacks on a US base in Jordan.

Iranian media reported six deaths from the US strikes, including three civilians on Qeshm island and three IRGC personnel, while Kuwait reported one death from separate Iranian strikes.

CENTCOM confirmed hitting dozens of IRGC facilities, including command centers and drone sites, as Iran pledged continued resistance and Pakistan urged ongoing diplomatic negotiations to de-escalate regional tensions.
