The Life Insurance Corporation of India introduced three new individual plans: New Jeevan Dhara-II, Health Shield, and New Cancer Cover, available for purchase from October 19.

New Jeevan Dhara-II is a deferred annuity savings plan offering guaranteed income and annuity rates after retirement, while Health Shield provides fixed benefit family health coverage.

The New Cancer Cover plan provides fixed financial benefits upon diagnosis of specified early and major stage cancers along with a monthly income benefit for 10 years.
