Android 17 introduces Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) support to hide domain names from network operators and eavesdroppers, making it the first major mobile OS to do so.

The update includes Local Network Protection to prevent unauthorized device scanning and forces Certificate Transparency by default to block forged security certificates.
