Apple Pay India Launch Expected Next Month

Apple Pay is expected to make its India debut next month after months of discussions between Apple and Indian banks and payment networks.

The payment service is anticipated to support card-based payments alongside potential integration with India's Unified Payments Interface.

Apple Pay has remained absent from India since its initial US introduction in 2014 despite the company's growing local presence.
