Kamaljeet and Suruchi secured India's second gold medal of the 2026 Asian Games by winning the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event on Day 7 in Nagoya.
The shooting contingent also added a silver medal as the trio of APS Tomar, Rudrankksh Patil, and Niraj Kumar finished second in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions team event.
In squash, Joshna Chinappa and Velavan Senthilkumar defeated the Philippines pair 11-3, 11-5 to advance to the mixed doubles semifinals and assure India of another medal.
