11-year-old British prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan secured her final Woman Grandmaster norm at the Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
She breaks the previous age record held by Kateryna Lagno, having already crossed the necessary 2300 rating threshold while playing on England’s top board.
Sivanandan also earned her second International Master norm, signaling her rapid progression toward open-title requirements despite still attending school full-time.
