Yami Gautam's 'Nayyi Navelli' Opens to Mixed Reviews and Chaotic Narrative Shifts

Directed by Balaji Mohan and starring Yami Gautam as Mohini, the film Nayyi Navelli was released in theatres to reviews highlighting its tonal inconsistency.

The 138-minute Hindi feature shifts from a small-town comedy and patchy horror elements into a devotional, mythological extravaganza focusing on Treta Yuga and Ramayana references.

The film's screenplay features exhaustive narrative leaps, supported by G.V. Prakash Kumar's music and a supporting comedic performance from Anurag Thakur as Bantu.
