IIT Delhi Introduces Grievance Ombudsperson and Staff Empathy Workshops

IIT Delhi announced the appointment of an independent Student Grievance Ombudsperson alongside recruitment of additional clinical psychologists.

The institute will implement mandatory empathy and mental health workshops for all faculty members and administrative staff.

These reforms were formulated based on recommendations from an external inquiry committee chaired by retired Delhi High Court judge Justice Mukta Gupta.
