Sri Lanka Court Convicts 15 in 2019 Easter Sunday Bombings

Fifteen men were convicted by Sri Lanka's High Court for masterminding the 2019 Easter Sunday bomb attacks, which killed 270 people and injured over 500.

Naufer Moulavi is identified as the mastermind; nine other men were acquitted, while all bombers died in the blasts.

The verdict follows previous legal actions, including a Supreme Court order for compensation and death sentences for two former officials for negligence.
