Pakistan batter Shan Masood will miss the second Test against the West Indies in Port of Spain, starting Sunday, due to an index finger injury sustained in the first match.

Masood was struck by a delivery from Jayden Seales during the first innings in Tarouba, and his participation in the upcoming series against England remains uncertain pending clinical progress.

The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed Masood will remain with the team while Abdullah Shafique, Saud Shakeel, or uncapped Awais Zafar are being considered as potential replacements for the second Test.
