Khushbu Darjada Wins Silver In Women's 63kg Judo At Youth Olympics

Khushbu Rajakbhai Darjada won the silver medal in the women's 63kg judo event at the Youth Olympics in Dakar after losing the final to Germany's Jolina Reinhold.

Darjada became only the second Indian judoka to win a Youth Olympic medal, following Thangjam Tababi Devi's silver in the 44kg category at the 2018 Buenos Aires edition.

The 15-year-old from Gujarat opened her campaign with a yuko win against Guinea's Mamaissata Camara before defeating Morocco's Abir Bouazzaoui and Algeria's Dounia Berrahoual via ippon.
