Rules framed for National Tribunals Commission appointments

The Union Law Ministry issued rules for the National Tribunals Commission to standardise recruitment, eligibility, and misconduct inquiries across 16 tribunals.

The commission chairperson will receive ₹2.5 lakh per month while commission members and tribunal heads will receive ₹2.25 lakh monthly.

The commission was established following the passage of the Tribunals Reforms Bill in August to ensure independence and transparency in tribunal appointments.
