Russia bombarded Kyiv with 21 ballistic missiles in an hourslong nighttime barrage on Thursday, while reporting the interception of over 800 Ukrainian drones.
The overnight strikes hit 12 regions across Ukraine, killing at least four people, including two women at a market in Lozova, and wounding scores of others.
The attacks occurred hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed in principle to resume three-way negotiations with Ukraine and the United States.
