Olympic welterweight champion Imane Khelif announced she will make her professional boxing debut on December 15 in Paris against Clarida Sarabia.
The 27-year-old Algerian fighter holds a pro license from France's boxing federation and missed a planned April return due to a training injury.
Her coach Kamel Abdesselam expressed confidence that Khelif could win a world title within three to five fights.
