The higher and technical education department announced that both attempts of the MHT-CET for engineering and pharmacy admissions will be held after Class 12 board exams.

The decision follows representations from parents and stakeholders pointing out that a December first attempt conflicted with Class 12 practical assessments starting in January.

Both exam attempts are expected to be held between March and May, with a candidate's best score considered for admission.
