Students and Activists Protest Against Electoral Roll Revision at Mumbai University

Students and activists staged a protest outside Mumbai University's Kalina campus on October 23, 2026, demanding the withdrawal of the Special Intensive Revision.

Organised by the Disha Students' Organisation and Bhagat Singh Jan Adhikar Yatra, demonstrators also called for the arrest of CEC Gyanesh Kumar.

Protesters alleged that the electoral revision exercise threatens voting rights and could disenfranchise Muslims, Dalits, Adivasis, and working-class voters.
