India Discusses Grain and Maritime Safety Agreements with Moscow and Kyiv

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar announced that India is involved in conveying messages between Moscow and Kyiv regarding Black Sea maritime safety and grain export agreements.

Speaking at a Munich Security Conference event in Delhi, Jaishankar defended India-Russia ties and stated that New Delhi is going beyond advocacy on the conflict.

The remarks follow recent meetings between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian and Ukrainian leaders, and come despite potential U.S. sanctions over Russian oil imports.
