Supreme Court Flags 14 Defects In Rahul Gandhi's Petition

A joint petition filed by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and opposition leaders against electoral irregularities and electoral rolls has 14 errors, the Supreme Court stated.

The registry flagged a Rs 220 court fee shortfall, missing authorisations from nine petitioners, and an illegible ID photocopy of Mallikarjun Kharge.

The petitioners must address these defects for the plea, which names the Election Commission and top poll officials as respondents, to be listed for hearing.
