Praggnanandhaa and Caruana Advance to Grand Chess Tour Finals

Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu and Fabiano Caruana will compete in the 2026 Grand Chess Tour Finals after winning their respective semifinal matches on Monday, August 24.

Praggnanandhaa defeated Vincent Keymer 19-9 with four games to spare, while Caruana secured an 18-12 victory over Wesley So to reach the final stage.

The finalists begin the championship match on Tuesday, August 25, while Keymer and So will play for third place and a qualification spot for the 2027 Grand Chess Tour.
