Ajinkya Rahane Joins Amsterdam Flames for Inaugural ETPL Season

Former India captain Ajinkya Rahane has signed as a marquee player for the Amsterdam Flames in the inaugural European T20 Premier League (ETPL), starting August 26, 2026.

Rahane, who recently retired from international and IPL cricket, brings experience from 308 T20 matches, having scored 7,968 runs at an average of 30.29 with 56 half-centuries.

The Flames squad, co-founded by Steve Waugh, also features international stars Steve Smith, Tim David, Michael Bracewell, and captain Mitchell Marsh.
