Centre Outlines NTA Restructuring, Security Overhaul in Supreme Court Affidavit

Following controversies surrounding the NEET-UG paper leaks, the Centre submitted an affidavit in the Supreme Court detailing the ongoing structural overhaul and security upgrades of the National Testing Agency.

The agency is transitioning to a functional-vertical structure based on recommendations from the K Radhakrishnan-led committee, recruiting domain specialists across testing, technology, and information security.

NTA has been allotted over 55,500 square feet of office space at Minto Road in Central Delhi to house confidential operations under the leadership of a newly appointed secretary-level Director General.
