The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has completed a payment of ₹1,491.21 crore to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to settle pending co-location cases.
This settlement clears a significant regulatory hurdle for the exchange, which has been preparing for its long-awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO).
SEBI's agreement in principle to settle these past lapses allows the NSE to move forward with its corporate governance restructuring and public listing plans.
