Telangana police investigate illegal oocyte harvesting racket

Malkajgiri police expanded an investigation into an illegal egg donation racket where operators earned about ₹3 lakh per cycle while paying donors ₹20,000 to ₹30,000.

Authorities rescued 43 women from economically weaker backgrounds during simultaneous raids in Hyderabad and subjected them to medical examinations.

All eight arrested suspects were remanded to judicial custody as police investigate medical establishments, intermediaries, and falsified records.
