GST Council Process Reforms To Be Implemented In Phased Manner

The Ministry of Finance announced that GST process reforms approved earlier this month will be implemented in phases, focusing on simplified registration for e-commerce sellers.

Draft GST returns and modified GSTR-1 forms will be published on the 'myGov.in' portal on November 1 for public feedback until November 30.

The phased changes aim to minimize supply chain tax mismatches, reduce demand notices, and introduce unified documentation and faster refunds.
