Google announced updates to Fitbit wearables and the Google Health app featuring enhanced automatic activity detection capable of recognizing over 100 activity types.
The company stated its evaluations show the updated tracking system is nearly twice as accurate and reduces missed workouts by more than half on devices like Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5.
Google is also introducing Health Guardian for Fitbit Air users with a Google Health Premium subscription to track blood pressure and insulin-resistance trends starting later this month.
