Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka urged the Centre at the GST Council meeting to protect state revenues during upcoming reforms.
Bhatti stated that Telangana could face an annual revenue impact of over ₹800 crore from proposed changes regarding motor vehicle refunds alone.
He also called for strict action against fake registrations and recommended forming a Group of Ministers to examine tax evasion in the scrap sector.
