Rakesh Tikait warns Bihar government over Satellite Township Projects

Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait warned the Bihar government against compromising farmers' rights through its proposed Satellite Township Projects across 11 areas.

Tikait demanded that the Bihar Town Development Act, 2026 be scrapped, raising concerns over lack of transparent pricing, social impact assessments, and compensation guarantees.

He warned that the Samyukt Kisan Morcha will launch protests if these demands are not met within a month.
