Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced that his ministry is identifying AI-proof professions to prepare India's workforce for fast-changing technological advancements.
The government's strategy focuses on traditional sectors where artificial intelligence enhances efficiency without replacing human labor, including handicrafts, handlooms, culinary arts, and tourism.
Speaking in Berlin, Goyal also emphasized building collaborative research ecosystems and industry partnerships to encourage talented Indian scientists and engineers abroad to return home.
