Andhra Pradesh's ruling TDP-led alliance won 17 of 87 urban local bodies uncontested, with the state election commission announcing the results on Sunday.
Of the 17 bodies where chairpersons were elected unopposed, the TDP secured 15, while the Jana Sena Party and BJP won one each.
The Supreme Court had directed the SEC to decide on a YSRCP plea alleging opposition candidates were forcibly prevented from filing nominations.
