Australian company Ansell is manufacturing premium synthetic gloves at its greenfield plant in Perundurai near Coimbatore.
Chief Medical Business Officer Jennifer Ross Murphy stated the investment exceeds $60 million as part of a strategic expansion.
The facility currently employs 500 people, derives 95 percent of its energy from renewables, and will supply global markets.
