Silver Prices Plunge While Gold Hits Seven-Month Low

Silver prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange dropped by 10,577 rupees per kilogram, falling below 1.80 lakh rupees and extending October losses to nearly 45,000 rupees.

Gold prices declined by 4,347 rupees per 10 grams to 1,38,249 rupees, marking their lowest level since late March.

The precious metals sell-off was driven by elevated inflation data, rising energy costs, and growing expectations of US interest rate hikes.
