AAP Leader Satyendar Jain Arrested in Delhi Jal Board Corruption Case

Former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain was arrested by investigative agencies today in connection with a multi-crore corruption case involving tender irregularities in the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) sewage treatment projects.

The arrest follows a prolonged probe into the awarding of contracts, with investigators naming Jain and the former DJB CEO among six individuals accused of financial misconduct and procedural violations.

The Aam Aadmi Party has condemned the arrest as political vendetta, while the BJP has demanded a full inquiry into the alleged siphoning of public funds meant for city infrastructure.
